Choreography

 As a choreographer, I strive to give not only the audience, but my dancers an exciting and engaging experience.  I love to choreograph pieces that draw in the audience to the movement, and the story that my dancers are trying to convey.  With many of my pieces, I try to think of what my audience will say afterward.  I want them to move along with my dancers and feel the emotion that is displayed through my work.

In my choreographic process, I use my dancers' thoughts, ideas, and abilities to create my work.  I listen to the ideas of those around me to create a work that my dancers are comfortable with, while also giving them a challenge.  When working with dancers, I strive to create a positive environment for them to work out movement and try new material.
